IMAGING TECH

Imaging Tech is an early startup that offers a new AI Cloud software solution designed to enable radiologists to accurately detect high-level abnormalities on medical images to improve decision-making time, prioritize urgent cases, and deliver improved treatment for patients.

Why Imaging-Tech

Even though Imaging Tech will not replace the role of radiologists in day-to-day clinical practice, it will

improve the performance of clinicians. The technology will offer the following benefits

Time 01

An increasing number of repetitive tasks will be automated over time.

Communication System (PACS) of all hospitals contains large imaging datasets with matching descriptions within radiology reports that can be AI-detected and used to perform ML on a very large scale. The interactions between radiology images and their reports have been used to train ML for automated detection of disease in images.

cost-effecective

Cost-effective research

AI research on data exports or even open source data costs considerably less than traditional imaging research involving patient recruitment, research coordinators, and prospective scanning, especially for laborious tasks prone to human error, such as detection of lung nodules on x-rays or bone metastases on CT.

Time-Save-(3)

Time saved for critical cases.

Patients with critical conditions will be prioritized in the queue to and can receive the urgent care they need immediately. Currently, a smaller number of radiologists than patient demand implies a considerable amount of time for radiologists to review large quantities of scans. This could be life-threatening for patients with critical conditions who need immediate attention

Idea

THIS IS THE FUTURE OF HEALTHCARE

Here at Imaging Tech, we seek to address the underlying problems of the radiological industry. With a shortage of available radiologists to view and review patient conditions after scanning, there is a tremendous gap in terms of care for patients throughout the world.

With our software solution, we’re bringing the world of healthcare IT into the radiologists office, allowing them to continue to focus on scans, while our AI software alerts them of any potential abnormalities in patient scans.

But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account

Mission

At Imaging Tech, our mission is simple

we’re constantly focused on helping today’s radiologists and medical professionals offer more astute care to their patients. It’s no secret that the radiological industry is struggling to keep up with patients. Long wait times, missed abnormalities, and the like have plagues the industry for far too long. Imaging Tech is here to reverse the trend and make a difference.

CT-scan images determine whether a person is healthy or has pulmonary damage. In general, pulmonary lesions of various types, including ground-glass opacities, solid white consolidation, and crazy paving patterns. The most common abnormal findings are ground-glass opacities, meaning that some parts of the pulmonary have shady areas, such as gray, instead of being black with clear white veins that indicate blood vessels in the lungs.
Canadian healthcare providers are primed for the use of AI in medical diagnostics. Over the past two decades, hospitals in Canada have migrated from film- and paper-based diagnostic imaging to digital formats. These will create a library of data used as the basis of reference materials for AI radiology application. Furthermore, a poll conducted by Nanos revealed that an overwhelming 83% of Canadians would support research in the use of AI in radiology in Canada.
